I just wanted to give it a try to draw some of the main characters of my book project plus landscape. It worked well I think ...

The characters are - from top to bottom at the left side:
Countess Cerima von Falkenruh, General Ko, a priest not named yet (the guy from here: [link]), Jadegreen (Di Wu-Liang), a captain not named yet
At the right side:
Thanalee von Oryn, Selcarion Alonso y Figo di Astudillo, Asarea von den Auen, Ayric, Floressa

Do you know the feeling of having a character concept almost finished, but just without the name? Some characters are easily named, and some aren't ...

Great picture, I envy your ability to put a book idea into a graphic setting. Names are tough. They become so much a part of the character that after you find a name for them you wonder how you ever thought about naming them anything else. Keep it up.

Thank you :) some of them are actual roleplaying characters of mine, some are completely new ... it's a funny mix between old and new.

I made the experience that it's much easier for me to write longer storys with some pictured scenes as a path I'm following ... and Ichema is growing through all illustrations I made.
And for the names ... I hate it even more than coloring. Names give the character some more direction, and if the name isn't the right one you'll have to kill the idea.

I love your pictures. About that priest name, he looks like someone who has a long name.. or may be a composed name?

Well, he's of Alestrano origin, that means he'll have a long name (as Selcarion) - but I can't actually decide if he's of noble birth or a bastard .. this would change so much :)
