Born as the third child of a farmer's couple near the old town of the king, Asarea was raised to become a priestess of Caihume, the godess of love, life, birth and growing nature. But then war came upon the land and she went to the king's military to become a soldieress and defendet like many others in a seven years enduring fight against Llud's demoncic hordes. After surviving as one of the few people from her division she travelled through the land as a wandering bard, telling tales and singing songs about life and the gods. Her talent was discovered by the king himself and after being a while at the king's court, he gave her the assignment to serve him as diplomat. After several years she was made the king's chancellor and acted as his representative for a long time - but her private life became more and more cold and lonely, so she asked the king to give her free at last.
This picture shows Asarea as the woman she is now, after five years active roleplaying, and again on her own to decide her steps without having to decide for a whole kingdom. Free at last, and full of bitter experiences.

She looks wonderful, wise, beautiful, but you can see that her eyes have seen things she'd rather forget....

Thank you ... if I caught this expression you're describing, I got it right ... phew. :) She has been in so much trobule, has seen so much things ... it's difficult to catch her right after several years active roleplaying with her.

*smiles* Thank you ... :) Sometimes I think this was the first step into being more professional, learning to draw hair ... I had good teachers, indeed. All the 'Elfquest' graphic novels from Wendy Pini. :D
